Namaste from the only “A”class constituent campus of Tribhuvan University in Karnali State, Nepal.
I am pleased to extend my best wishes to all the stakeholders and well-wishersof the campus.As a constituent campus of Tribhuvan University, the largest and oldest university in Nepal, initially, the campus was set up in Nepalgunj in 1972 AD and later in 1983 AD, it was relocated to Surkhet in its original place. Since its inception, the campus has been imparting quality education to develop skilled human resources to meet national and international needs.We are dedicated in fulfilling the educational needs of the country from Karnali State.As the Campus accepts no compromise in quality education, it has become a prominent choice of students who envision their future career here. We wish to transform the campus into the center of educationalexcellenceand research activities.
Dynamic administration;dedicated, technology-friendly, and co-operativeteachers and non-teaching staffs, resourceful library, peaceful teaching-learning environment, provision of scholarshipfor deserving and needy students, hostel facility for the students, residence for teachers and employees,adequate extra-curricular activities, hygienic cafeteria, spacious parking and attractive gardenshave made the campus a center of attraction. At present, the campus runs four-semester M.Ed. program in regular seven subjects. Similarly, the campus runs four-year B.Ed. programs (11 subjects), nine-semester B.Ed. ICT program, one-year B.Ed. program and four-year BBS program.We have planned to extend its physical infrastructure and academic programs in different subjects of education, management, law, and science.We are working to acquire QAA certification very soon.
As a Campus Chief, I assure all the stakeholders that I will leave no stone unturned for the growth and development of the campus. The campus always expects and welcomes creative and constructive helping hands for its further development in the days to come.I wish the graduates of this campus will aspire us to realize our dreamed mission of the campus for the all-around educational development of Karnali State and Nepal!
